Description
A little sump’n-sump’n I drew for the True Match-Up Contest being held by the lovely *Vanilleon over at her webcomic True Magic! It didn’t have to be a romantic pairing, and I’m not the most avid of shippers, but I’ve pretty much shipped this very obscure pair (the Bandit Boss and Mrs. Shiroenne, who is main characters Jen and Joe’s mom) since their one and only random encounter. If you read the page on this link and the one after that, I’m sure you’ll understand why. ;D www.true-magic.com/view.php?id…
I’m really quite pleased with how this turned out; I accidentally discovered the technique that lets you do those cool stripes and had to try it out. A couple things aren’t QUITE right (we’ll pretend Mrs. Shiroenne is standing on a porch step or off to the side, rather than floating in midair), but I think the good far outweighs the bad, and so I am happy. We’ll see how I do in the contest!
And when it all comes down to it, the most important thing was that I capture in Mrs. Shiroenne’s expression the following message:
“Alright, yes, you’re very suave. You may proceed, so long as you remember that if you cease being a gentleman, I can still take you out with this broom.”
(Addition by Aja/Vanilleon: “Wait, is that rose from MY garden?”)
